Acceptable Use Policy for ShabdSetu Services

Important Notice: By using ShabdSetu's services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Violation of these policies will result in your document processing being cancelled and your content being returned without processing.

Prohibited Illegal and Dangerous Activities

Do not engage in dangerous or illegal activities, or otherwise violate applicable law or regulations. This includes generating or distributing content that:

  • Relates to child exploitation or abuse:
    • Any content involving the abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors
    • Materials depicting, promoting, or facilitating harm to children
  • Facilitates violent extremism or terrorism:
    • Content promoting terrorist organizations or extremist ideologies
    • Instructions or encouragement for violent extremist acts
  • Facilitates non-consensual intimate imagery:
    • Sharing or distributing private intimate images without consent
    • Creating or manipulating intimate content without authorization
  • Facilitates self-harm:
    • Content encouraging suicide or self-injury
    • Instructions or methods for self-harm activities
  • Facilitates illegal activities or violations of law:
    • Instructions for synthesizing or accessing illegal substances or weapons
    • Guidance on obtaining regulated goods or services illegally
    • Methods to circumvent legal restrictions or regulations
  • Violates rights of others:
    • Using personal data or biometric information without legally-required consent
    • Infringing on intellectual property rights or copyrights
    • Unauthorized use of proprietary or confidential information
  • Tracks or monitors people without consent:
    • Surveillance activities without proper authorization
    • Stalking or unauthorized monitoring of individuals
  • Makes automated high-risk decisions:
    • Automated decisions with material detrimental impact on individual rights without human supervision in domains including employment, healthcare, finance, legal matters, housing, insurance, or social welfare

Security and Service Integrity

Do not compromise the security of others or our services. This includes generating or distributing content that facilitates:

  • Spam, phishing, or malware:
    • Creating or distributing unsolicited bulk communications
    • Phishing attempts or fraudulent communications
    • Malicious software or code
  • Infrastructure abuse or disruption:
    • Attacks on ShabdSetu or third-party infrastructure
    • Denial-of-service attacks or service disruption
    • Unauthorized access attempts or system exploitation
  • Circumvention of safety measures:
    • Attempts to bypass abuse protections or safety filters
    • Manipulating the system to contravene policies
    • Exploiting vulnerabilities to evade restrictions

Prohibited Harmful and Inappropriate Content

Do not engage in activities involving inappropriate, violent, hateful, or harmful content. This includes generating or distributing content that facilitates:

  • Hatred or hate speech:
    • Content promoting hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
    • Discriminatory or derogatory content targeting specific groups
  • Harassment and abuse:
    • Bullying, intimidation, or threatening behavior
    • Abusive or insulting communications targeting individuals
    • Coordinated harassment campaigns
  • Violence and incitement:
    • Graphic violent content or gore
    • Incitement to violence or dangerous activities
    • Glorification of violence or suffering
  • Inappropriate explicit content:
    • Content of an explicit nature created for purposes of arousal
    • Material intended primarily for gratification rather than educational, artistic, or medical purposes
    • Content violating standards of decency or community guidelines

Misinformation and Deceptive Practices

Do not engage in misinformation, misrepresentation, or misleading activities. This includes:

  • Frauds and deceptive actions:
    • Scams or fraudulent schemes
    • Deceptive business practices
    • False advertising or misrepresentation of services
  • Impersonation with intent to deceive:
    • Impersonating individuals (living or deceased) without explicit disclosure
    • Creating content falsely attributed to real persons
    • Misrepresenting identity or credentials
  • Misleading expertise claims:
    • False claims of expertise in health, finance, government services, or legal matters
    • Providing advice in sensitive areas without proper qualifications
    • Misrepresenting professional capabilities or credentials
  • Harmful misinformation:
    • False claims about governmental or democratic processes designed to deceive
    • Misleading health information or harmful health practices
    • Conspiracy theories or disinformation campaigns
  • Misrepresentation of AI-generated content:
    • Claiming AI-generated content was created solely by humans when intending to deceive
    • Failing to disclose AI involvement when required or material
